If you haven’t heard, Devin presented on the Warrior Gateway Project last week at the “Business Steps Up: Hiring Our Heroes” event hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis and Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki also presented at the event.

Below is the presentation that we gave on November 12th at the US Chamber’s event: “Business Steps Up – Hiring Our Heroes” and subsequently on November 14th in Las Vegas to a group of wounded warriors and their families as part of the American Airlines Yellow Ribbon Express.
It’s slides only with no audio (sorry) but gives you a good sense of the project messages to date.
Yesterday we presented at the ‘Business Steps Up: Hiring our Heroes’ event hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. It was a very exciting event, with a number of important speakers, including Dan Senor, Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, and Secretary of VA Eric Shinseki. We presented on the Warrior Gateway as well, with an introduction by Gen. Boyd and a presentation on the project by Devin.

The Warrior Gateway team just got back from the “Business Steps Up: Hiring our Heroes” event hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce. It was an exciting event with a number of highly informative presentations. Devin presented on the Warrior Gateway, which was very well received. All in all, a wonderful event, and we’d like to thank everyone for coming out.

In case you haven’t heard, the US Chamber of Commerce is holding a huge event this Thursday which will explore solutions to help incorporate veterans into the workplace. The event, titled “Business Steps Up: Hiring Our Heroes,” will feature Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki and Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis. The Warrior Gateway Project was lucky enough to be asked by the Chamber of Commerce to share the stage with these illustrious figures; we will be presenting for about 30 minutes on how the Warrior Gateway will provide veterans with the opportunity to find the best jobs for them based on their military skills and experience, and will provide employers with a tool that will enable them to easily access the best job talent within the veteran community.
The event should be highly informative, and will be a great opportunity to learn about the Warrior Gateway, as well as see two Department Secretaries speak. We highly encourage you to come. You can register for the event here.
